Información sobre Deportaciones Expeditas Si entraste ilegalmente (sin inspección o admisión) y no puedes probar que llevas más de dos años viviendo en Estados Unidos, estás sujeto a una remoción expedita, sin derecho a ver un juez. CONSEJO: Lleva siempre contigo evidencia de que has estado residiendo en el país por lo menos 2 años. Exige hablar con un abogado. Si firmas un documento de auto deportación, renuncias a tu derecho a ver tu caso en corte ante un juez. CONSEJO: Si caes bajo custodia de ICE, reclama tu derecho a hablar con un abogado. CONSEJO: Si ICE te detiene, no firmes ningún documento sin hablar con un abogado, muchas veces es una auto deportación. Si ya tienes una orden de deportación en tu contra, puedes ser removido sin derecho a ver un juez. CONSEJO: Si vas a ser deportado, y tienes alguna situación humanitaria de peso (por ejemplo, familiares ciudadanos o residentes que dependan de ti, o que tu o alguien de tu familia sufra de alguna enfermedad seria y este recibiendo tratamiento), es posible que puedas solicitar una detención de deportación. About Expedited Removals If you entered illegally (without inspection or admission) and cannot prove that you have been living in the United States for more than two years, you are subject to expedited removal, without the right to see a judge. TIP: Always carry with you evidence that you have been residing in the country for at least 2 years. Demand to speak with a lawyer. If you sign a self-deportation document, you waive your right to see your case in court before a judge. TIP: If you fall into ICE custody, claim your right to speak with an attorney. TIP: If ICE detains you, don't sign any documents without talking to a lawyer, many times it's a self-deportation. If you already have a deportation order against you, you can be removed without the right to see a judge. TIP: If you are going to be deported, and you have a serious humanitarian situation (e.g., citizen or resident family members who depend on you, or you or someone in your family suffers from a serious illness and is receiving treatment), you may be able to apply for a stay of removal.
